We're looking for a partner that can work with our developers to build and maintain a database containing online pricing for all available cruises internationally. There are around 15,000 agencies that sell cruise tickets, and we'd aim to get a significant portion of them onto our website. This would be a price comparison website for cruise-goers, similar to what Skyscanner is for flights. We'd be looking to review agency pricing on a daily basis for us to deliver results to people who search on our website. Our lead developer suggested that outsourcing data crawling functions instead of trying to hire a full-time developer to handle it could save us some money in the long term. We can work to build the required list of URLs after receiving contact from you. Could you please provide a quote for setting this up, along with an estimation of an ongoing maintenance fee from that point? We can invest a fair amount into the project, but the ongoing cost to maintain the service will be the key consideration as to whether or not we will continue with the idea. We would be looking for a long term partnership if we can agree on a suitable maintenance cost for the project, and sign an annual agreement at the very least. Please note, this would be a complex project with numerous data points (multiple passengers, class of ticket, etc) and this wouldn't be suitable for junior developers.

Hi, my name is Povilas, I'm from Lithuania and I have experience working on pretty complex web scraping projects. Web scraping is probably not that precise word these days, because usually what I do is try to reverse engineer API endpoints of the websites and it is much more efficient to get the data this way. I have built scrapers for such big websites as Kayak and Zillow. Kayak was a bit more interesting case, because I come up with a solution to set up a proxy and direct all traffic from Kayak mobile app to that proxy so I could track back the API endpoints to get the data source.
