Gadget Trade-in Website

This is considered to be a very simple e-commerce website. It only has a few products and a few attributes of each product. The shopping experience (quoting process) should be done in one-page with AJAX. Your proposal should include platforms and technologies that you want to use. Design and implement a trade-in website for customers to trade in their gadget for cash. Front-end Functionality 1. Generate Quote Provide a list of gadget models for users to choose. Once a model is chosen, a list of questions regarding the condition of the selected model is displayed. The user then chooses "Yes/No" to the questions. Once all questions are answered, a quote is displayed. 2. Confirm Quote If the user confirms the quote, he will be prompted to enter his contact information. When done, a quote confirmation page is displayed and a user account is created. 3. Quote Status Display a list of confirmed quotes to a login customer. The detail status of a quote is displayed once selected. The statuses of the quotes are: Created, Label Sent, Gadget Received, Payment Sent, Payment Received, Cancelled. Back-end Functionality 1. Account, Model and Configuration, and Quote Provide admin pages to add/delete/modify accounts, models and their configuration, and quotes. 2. Outbound Mailing Label Print outbound mailing label and quote page. This label will be used to mail the inbound mailing label and quote page to the user. 3. Inbound Mailing Label Print inbound mailing label. This mailing label is for the user to ship back his gadget. 4. Payment (outbound) Once a gadget is received, If the user chose to receive payment by paypal, the system will automatically send out payment to the user. If the user chose to receive a check, the system will automatically print out a check and an outbound mailing label. 5. Reminder Email Automatically sends out reminder emails to a user to remind him shipping the gadget.
