237851 Club website quote needed

We are requesting outline proposals and quotes to produce a website for a club with the features listed below. We are open to suggestions as to how it should be created and laid out. As it is for a club, cost is an important factor, though we do need it to look quite presentable. We can provide our own graphics where necessary. please quote how much it would cost and how long it would take to produce a website with the 'basic' requirements listed below. We have also listed some additional features that would be nice but are not essential, and are interested to get feedback on the viability of these features and of the potential costs of each. Please be aware that it is likely to be at least a couple of months before we are in a position to proceed with the Web development, but need quotes now so that we can agree the details and organise funds. Basic requirements (essential) 1. CMS - a content management system would make it much easier to manage the website and keep it up to date 2. Intro page - explaining the background to the organisation. Probably on the homepage. 3. Membership list - with the name, organisation and web link for all club members - there should be a form on the membership page that allows people to add themselves as members. This probably needs some sort of security, or moderator approval. 4. Events listings - providing brief details of all related events in the UK and international events of interest to the membership. There should be a form on the page that allows members to add details of their events (should consider whether some form of log in/ID is required for this) 5. News - this could potentially be combined with the events listings, or could be more general news for things other than events that could use the same template and form for the members to add their own news. It could even be a separate section on the same page. 6. Contact - there should be a little bit of information about all of the club management team (the liaison's and chairman), and some easy way of contacting your nearest liaison. Either by providing contact details for each, or with a contact form that has a drop-down menu, allowing you to select the liaison that you want to contact. 7. SEO - some form of basic search engine optimisation would be required, such as static page headings. We are open to suggestions on what is necessary. Advanced features (optional) 1. Members Profiles - short bio of each member, which they can add themselves using an online form when they join as a member. There will also need to be some way for them to update this later. 2. Case studies/projects section - again using a form, members could be able to submit a summary of projects that they have worked on, preferably with one or two pictures. These could just be listed on a case studies page, or they could be some way of dividing them up into different types of project e.g. product/service design, graphic design, architecture/built environment. 3. Member tagging- some way of tagging your key interests so that other members can search for people who share their interests would be useful. 4. Members map -a map plotting the approximate location of the members could be a useful feature to aid networking. Maybe it is possible to create something like this using Google maps that could be driven by the member profiles? 5. Blog feeds - rather than having our own blog, we could take feeds from members blogs so that we are constantly displaying the most up-to-date and relevant posts from the UK.
