10-12 custom html5/css landing page templates + a few additional custom templates for misc. use for an established American education website with a global reach and user base in niche area. All templates should be easily editable via standard html/css editor. The templates will be used to house both long-existing and new content pages containing text, audio, video. The design of the templates should be forward looking -- this is the first site makeover in well over a decade -- present and (where possible) future standards compliant, mobile friendly, cdn friendly, adsense and other ad network friendly, Each template will include, among others, a an efficient navigation area to get to other areas of the site, a nation-specific patriotic look and feel, a "holy grail" or close design that looks and functions great across mediums (desktop, laptop, mphone, tablet, large flatscreen tv). User base includes K7-12 and college undergrad and grad students and instructors, news orgs and other firms and agencies. This is an entirely front end job using only html5, css+, and maybe light javascript at most. The process may proceed on a template to template basis. Accordingly: submit a template for review, receive and precisely respond to questions/suggestions/requirements; revise template; submit for second or final review; move to the next template. At each stage, your code will be checked and verified independently for compliance, efficiency, and security. This is NOT a time sensitive project, per se -- a few weeks to a few months to completion is acceptable given the right freelancer.
