We have basic website, [login to view URL] and we are looking to further develop this site in order to contain the following factions: • A database of members in dynamic full single page view and highlighted list view (designed) • A long input page to collect members info for database (designed) • Custom members sign up lightbox. (designed) • Wix blog function, but used by only admin to upload resource and turn it into a library Project Context A new arts organisation for UK-based professionals who are connected to the MENA+ region (Middle East, North Africa and the surrounding area). • we celebrate the talent of our membership. • strive to be at the heart of conversations around our identity. • be our own support network. • lobby for the appropriate representation. • advocate for change to increase access and opportunities for employment. Project Overview A huge part of our work is connectivity and community. To do this we need a strongly functioning website to organise our activity, facilitate or support and collate resources, in one easily accessible place. (designed) • Wix blog function, but used by only admin to upload resource and turn it into a library NB: Anyone can have access to view the database. Members (who have confirmed their email) can upload/re edit their details in the database. To complete the above, we need coding/trouble shooting/fixing to do the following: Logging in 1. Add custom lightboxes for: ‘sign in’, ‘resend password’, (designed but need coding/linking) and ‘confirm email’, email with link through. 2. Unpick error, so we know what it is i.e.: email already exists Joining the database 3. Code to recognise user logged in so they can see and re-edit their database details 4. Review uploaded image before they upload/update profile on this input page 5. ‘Submission of form’ alerts to admin, via email, to review before allowing it go live Enjoying the database 6. Ability to clink from a highlighted list view to full single view 7. 3 filter inputs for users to search and stack filter results. 8. Allow users to sort results/filters. (A/Z) 9. Users can like and add an entry from a dynamic page to their shortlist. 10. Mechanism to send yourself URLs or shortlist choices. 11. ‘Report this profile’ button & sends email alert to admin. Blog/library 12. Modify current Wix Blog functionality to hide options to comment / like posts. General 13. Add SEO 14. Make mobile friendly 15. Resolve scene auto resize for different sized windows. Timeline First three weeks of November.
