Product Variant Swatch Design for Shopify Website

Connected Apparel is a women’s clothing company that has been in the wholesale business with large-scale, big box retailers for 20 years (next month). However, our e-commerce, online direct to consumer, division just began last year ([login to view URL]). As we grow, we continue to make alterations and additions to our Shopify (Basic) store. We just went through a complete theme scrap & upgraded to a less code-bulky, sleeker Prestige theme. And now we’re ready to implement our next change! ____________________________________________ THE PROJECT: We need our collection and product layouts manipulated from their original Prestige framework. On the collection level, we’d like items to advise how many colors are available. On the product level, we’d like products to display visual swatches and for users to be able to toggle between the swatches & have the images and available sizes change as well. The main hurdle being that different colors of same items are set up as entirely different products (and not as 1 product with variants). We also need the chosen dev to create the swatches - with help from our internal team. ____________________________________________ ***We need a knowledgeable developer who primarily works on the Shopify platform (Shopify partners preferred).*** THE RIGHT DEVELOPER WILL: - Have excellent skills writing & manipulating Shopify backend code within themes, individual pages, and products. - Be able to strategize a framework for what we need, explain it, test it, and implement it. - Communicate on a consistent basis & be collaborative. Part of this project requires working in tandem with a member of our team. - Be thorough and forthcoming with their plans.
