We have a PHP project running on a Windows environment & MSSQL. We need to implement active directory feature where we can read the logged in user's email from within the PHP code so that the user wouldn't have to sign in twice but would only need to sign into his windows environment. Hello, I am a senior engineer with 9+ years of experience managing windows environment. I have an excellent skills in Windows servers and Active Directory, and very good php skills. I did something similar before (searching for user data in AD from php) Finding current logged in user is one part of the project. Then getting his email from AD is the 2nd part. The way the code get implemented and its difficulty depend on your environment. You web server, IIS, or Apatche? And what version?

WORK TO DO : 1- Enable Windows authentication (NTLM or Kerberos) on IIS or Apache (additional PHP modules required for Apache) 2- Install php-ldap module (needed for ldap query to retrieve the email address) 3- Help implement or implement the PHP code that take the username and retrieve the email address (it's basically a simple ldap query)
