I have a VB.Net app that sends and receives data to an RS232 device. The data received is used as a live debug of the RS232 device, at the moment, the received data is shown in a ritchtext box. I would like to have a check box that when ticked will create a log file in the programs root, and write the data to the text file. It should add time and date stamp to each line.
