I'm on the lookout for a seasoned WordPress developer who can both work on my website and guide me in the creation of themes and plugins. Ideally, you'll focus a bit more on theme development during our learning sessions. Key requirements for this project include: - Developing a custom theme for my website. - Crafting a bespoke plugin to enhance site functionality. - Teaching me the ins and outs of theme development in WordPress. Your role would involve not only hands-on development but also coaching me through the process so I can gain a deeper understanding of WordPress theme creation. I'm at an intermediate level with WordPress, so your ability to explain complex ideas in a clear and concise manner will be much appreciated. Ideal skills for this job would include: - Proficiency in WordPress theme and plugin development. - Strong knowledge of WordPress best practices and standards. - Excellent communication and teaching skills to guide me effectively through the learning process. IMPORTANT: - My max budget is £250! - I'm looking to learn - this is the biggest part! I don't need help to create a Wordpress website or use plugins. - I'm looking to learn and take a shortcut in learning the Wordpress system. - I'm a coder and develop in a few languages - I'm being lazy and want to shortcut the learning process, else I can do it all myself. - I expect you to teach me how other developers develop themes using plugins and page builders. - One of the end outputs I want is to develop a plugin that gives me a single form, which when filled in will create the filled in data to an implemented theme - this I will explain later. - This plugin - I want to develop myself - but with guidance from you! All development of code - I want to do - with your guidance. - If you have bid anything other than £250 for the project, it tells me you haven't read this spec. ?
