I'm having fun with AWS and need some help. I have a couple of EC2 instances and a domain name. I want to map my domain name to one (ui instance), a subdomain of it to the second instance (api instance) and then to be able to call the api instance from the ui instance without getting cors errors. I'd also like to remove cloud front and replace it with a load balancer (because cloudfront is great until you start deploying code). My front end is an asp.net web site and my backend is a c# api and a mysql db. My software is working fine - it's really just the infrastructure which is proving problematic right now.

Hey guys, I am creating a streaming site with dooplay (2.3.3) and I was able to set up a working player with imdb id (gdrive player) but as there is not every movie playable and the quality isnt the best, so I want to add another source (should say alternative player under the normal player) with for example videospider, or if you guys got a better option for auto embed with imdb id and tmdb id - that would be also great. I cant get videospider to work, because the second source never shows up and I am not able to edit the code that it works as I want. If its only videospider it shouldnt be that expensive though. I'm a little new to AWS's CLI, though I've used AWS in other ways for a long time. I'm playing with Textract and want to submit a file locally, not from S3. I already have an AWS account and an IAM role with the correct permissions and a configured CLI. I'm running Ubuntu 16 at the moment (I can upgrade to 18 if needed) with Python3.
