Programmer needed for contract work for analytical instrumentation company We are is a developer and manufacturer of analytical instruments for carbon and sulfur measurement. We are looking for a part-time programmer for a project we are working on. The project involves communicating with an analytical instrumentation using an RS232 serial to USB converter and displaying information and acknowledging key presses on a touch screen or with a mouse (optional). Requirements Experience in programming in Windows or Linux environment. Program should be developed in Visual Studio or other IDE environment C++, C# or other language. Experience with running/using analytical instruments is desirable.
I am looking for help to modify an old software that was written in C# for windows XP. The job is to make the software work under Windows 10. There are a few functional improvements needed. It was a research instrument software. The basic function of the software is to read spectra from a USB spectrophotometer, and based on the absorbance, the software will send command to a serial port.
Complete an OpenGL app with features: 1. Open .obj (wavefront) files 2. Open .xyz format 3. Load textures/ material from mtl file for .obj 4. Apply/Change texture of loaded mesh from an image file 5. I have a simple project that is working well as a foreground task. It needs to be adapted to run in the background to save energy. The app makes a classic Bluetooth serial connection, reads some data from the Bluetooth device, then uses HTTP to post it to an online service. Then it goes to sleep for ten minutes before repeating the process. The app should be able to run continuously in the background with no user intervention. It is written in B4A.

I am open to hearing about other options but I would prefer to stay with the ATMEGAs because of the Arduino IDE compatibility. I want to be able to connect my PCB to my computer (using USB) and program it with the Arduino IDE and use the Arduino IDE serial monitor for testing.
