Food Law Assignment-Lablelling Task Labelling Assignment All students are required to undertake the following exercise on 2 labels. You have been allocated labels (see link below). Photographs of the packages can be seen by following the links below. Task: Consider that you have been asked to act as a labelling consultant for an importer of foods. The foods have been sold somewhere else in the world and the importer would like to sell them in the UK. You are required to assess the current labels and list those things needing to be changed, added or removed to make the labels compliant with EU labelling law (based on the updated requirements in Regulation 1169/2011). For each change you recommend, you are required to indicate what the likely form of the new statement will be. In some cases there will be insufficient information for you to do this accurately but you should try to give a suggestion so that the importer can understand the sort of change required. Note: The importer is keen to display nutrition data for all the products so, even if this is not yet legally necessary, the data will need to be given and be compliant with UK/EU law. 1000 words
