Parse text file downloaded from modem communication

I have the need to parse a text file into meaningful SQLserver data table(s) based on the data columns in the file. The file was extracted from a Verifone TranZ 380 card reader (if you don't know what it is, you probably don't want to bid on this project). Modem communication expertise may be required to intyerprete the data accurately. Sample of the text file can be provided upon your request. Also, please let me know if you are familiar with Verifone TranZ 380 and can work with this hardware. I need to verify if there's any data still stored in this unit.
