Hello,
I'm a short story writer, and a creative writing Masters student in Melbourne. I'm writing a children's comic book about an underwater cafe street and its inhabitants. I liked the ideas you had for each story. Here are some rough proposals for you:
These are rough ideas I have for your parables.
1.) A plump child in school is bullied by the biggest boy in the school. The bully is popular, an athlete, who is quite rich and throws parties which the plump child is never invited too. They used to be friends when they were younger, and the bully told the plump boy alot of secrets. Since his parent's divorce, he's become different, and is taking his anger out on the one person he's confided in. One day, the bully takes the plump child by the scruff of the neck to the empty playground after school when something extraordinary happens...
6.)A young girl is a superb football player. She wins trophies for her school team pretty much by herself, a star midfielder and touted to be a future captain. eThen, a girl from another school arrives as a transfer student and it transpires that she's a marvelous football player as well. While training, the new girl intentionally tackles the star player on the shin, ruling her out of the finals. Distraught and bent on revenge, the former star thinks up a devious way to get her revenge.
10.) Born in an aristocratic family, Samuel is the 10th of 11 children of his household. His father, lord of an estate, owns a gigantic plantation. Samuel is 6 years old and is just about to begin school but is lonely because he has no one to play with; all his older siblings are at school and he has the constant attention of his parents. One day he walks out on to the plantation and sees his fathers workers, sweating in the heat, working ten hour days. He meets a young boy, about his age, helping his father in the fields. THey become friends, and Samuel gets a life changing perspective on his fortune.
If you grant me the bid, I will send you my ideas for the other seven within the day. I've taught nursery students before and have a good idea of what children like in a story.
Thank you
