Use the following components to build a small SMPTE Timecode reader / generator: Functions: 1) Read LTC input through 3.5mm Audio jack. 2) Output LTC via 3.5mm Audio jack (Use the same port for bi-directional). 3) Retain the synched Timecode with an RTC without slippage. 4) Display the Timecode constantly on the OLED display. 5) Sync Between two Similar Arduino Units (Using 2.4Ghz Transreceiver). 6) Should support 23.98, 24, 25, 29.97, 30, 50, 59.94, 60 frame rates and milliseconds (1000 fps). 7) Use BLE module to sync with Bluetooth enabled phones with apps streaming LTC (Optional). Components: 1) Any Arduino based IoT board of small size factor 2) RTC DS3231 3) An I2S (DAC / ADC) module 4) OLED I2C SSD1306 5) Rotary Encoder with push button "Enter Menu" & one momentary button for "Exit Menu" 6) GPS receiver for UTC time sync with the RTC (Optional) Note: You're welcome to suggest other components too if it would workout cheaper. We have a lot of experience in cellphone chargers, battery chargers, motor control, H bridges (1 and 3 phases), etc. We work with a show production and rental company. We make a lot of aplications with LTC. We can develop complete solutions, from mechanical design and drawings, PCB design, PCB assembly, firmware programming, and complete product assembly. This Bid proposal is only for programming and circuit recommendations, All components ar OK, but, the LTC detection is not recommended make with a DAC, It has to be made with a small operational amplifiers circuit. We make a lot of them. We can chat when you prefer to know this project. KiCad is an open source software suite for Electronic Design Automation (EDA).
