I need a custom proxy written in C that will work on linux & freebsd
I do not wish to use existing software, I need my own written
Here are the requirements
1. Simple config file that will allow me to define the listening port, target ip & target port
2. The process must listen on every available address on the server (there are 100 ips on my server)
3. The outgoing ip must match the ip the proxy was connected to.
4. It must allow multiple connections (as many as possible).
5. IMPORTANT: I need a way (separate config or compiled into) to define a string (via HEX) to ignore the incoming packet if it is in the packet.
This can be done 2 ways:
a. I define start position, and end position & match against my hex.
Similar to: If mid(packet, 4, 6) == "0A 0A"
b. I only define the string to drop the packet with & it searches the entire packet. Similar to: If instr(packet, "0A 0A") > 0
The only reason for option A is if option B requires very high CPU... otherwise option B is all that is required.
ONLY this single packet must be dropped, NOT THE NETWORK CONNECTION!
