The Delhi unit of Akali Dal had announced reward for Jarnail Singh for flinging the shoe. How ludicrous is that? In the whole scene, one ignores the fact that the Jardin betrayed the code of conduct of journalism. The BJP and Akali dal trying to take out the milk of the situation. We all agree that outrage mobs and media operations can not and must not decide the guilt and innocence of individuals. This type of justice is not only dangerous but uncivilized. This may indicate that we given up with due process of law. No matter how many jokes and puns are made on this incidence, this can’t be taken loosely. Who knows, someday one throws a shoe fitted with bomb on our prominent politician for not passing speedy judgment. No matter, how effective these practice are, it should not be promoted and appreciated in civilized society.
