presta shop template repair

Hi I am looking for someone to help me, I have a presta shop and have just recently bought a new template from templatemonster to change the shop appearance, we have updated everything to presta shop 1.5.3.1 the latest version of presta shop which the template works for, and switched the shop over to the new database and the data base has been updated to the new presta shop 1.5.3.1 .all appears to be ok apart from that the manufacturas option is not there and not working as it should be , We need the manufacturas option to be working properly and editable, so we can add photos, and content and add products for the manufacturas. for some reason this is not the case, unlike our old template which the manufacturas option worked perfectly. So we are looking for someone to help us to add the manufacturas option fully working to our prestashop,
