.txt to .xlsx with data transpose: Matlab code required (Simple job)

I need a simple Matlab code which will be able to take some tabulated data/matrix from a notepad file (.txt) to an Excel file. The data require a simple organizing in the excel file. Example files are attached. 1. Source txt file 2. Target Excel file. The data is provided for 3 time steps (time steps will vary in other files). The concerned variables here are Depth and Moisture. In the excel file, moisture values corresponding to depth values need to be shown for each time steps. Comments are written in excel sheet for better understanding.
