Write small windows batch and PS script

Hello, I would need 2 little scripts, one in batch(CMD/DOS) and the equivalent in Powershell. The scripts should accept 3 parameters and based on tjhe below criteria should or should NOT append the result to the hosts file (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc). Once the above steps have completed, I would like to open a webpage/browser(new window) using the users default browser and pointing to a concatenation of the parameters. Parameters =========== Parameter 1: What IP addressed assigned to server? Parameter 2: 'intm-svr-01' (static value) --> cannot be edited Parameter 3: What DNS/domain did you use? (default value is [login to view URL]) Criteria/Conditional update of hosts file ================================== If parameter 3 DNS/domain is the default value '[login to view URL]' ---> update hosts file YES with Parameter 1 Parameter [login to view URL] 3 parameter 2 Example: [login to view URL] [login to view URL] intm-svr-01 Open Webbrowser Url ===================== IF Domain/DNS is default: [login to view URL]:1 If custom domain/DNS substite with parameter 3 [login to view URL]:1 Notes =========== Take into account permissions to update the file, and that it may need to run as Administrator (preferably not) This is a small project but I'm looking for someone who is autonomous.
