First 100 Days of Selling Reprint Project

The publisher we worked with in the past is out of business. We need new copies of our book and are planning on using [login to view URL] to print those. However, the PDF version of the book has hidden margins that are making it impossible to upload directly. There are approximately 260 pages that will need to be touched. Unfortunately, because of the issues with the PDF version, we can't copy and paste a large number of pages at at time. The formatting in the PDF will not allow us to do that. What you need to do: • Copy and paste the text from each page individually from the PDF into the word file I have already created • Make sure formatting stays consistent with what is already in the document - Chapter titles should match, body text should match headers/footers should match • The book is structured into 10 sections and 100 days throughout the sections. We need the Section # in the header of EVEN pages or Left side page and we need the Day # to be in the Header on ODD # pages or the Right Side page. - This will require creating many "Section Breaks". •The images will all need to be transferred over as well. • Because we are basically reformatting this book the Index and the TOC will need to be update with the new page numbers. • One side note, the sections have "black vertical boxes" in the margins. Those do not need to be transferred over. Key Skills: • Microsoft Word knowledge of section breaks, headers/footers and formatting To be successful in this task the person will need to be able to communicate fluently in English via GoToMeeting, Email, Text, Phone or a combination of options. I like short progress updates every 2-3 days. If questions arise, I expect the person to communicate instead of continuing on incorrectly. Some of the work has already been imported to the Word file. The person can use the completed work as examples for continuing. I estimate this project should take no longer than 15 hours. I have a deadline of 11/20 to have this completed. You will find 3 files: First 100 Days of Selling PDF - this is the PDF version of the book F100DoS Final WIP - this is the document that needs to become print ready and where all information will get transferred too F100DoS PDF Conversion - this document is the PDF version, converted to a Word version.
