Kindle Novella Editing

I am a youth peace activist and holders of a BA in History and currently a final year master research student in economic and social history. I am also a the Human Resource and Administrative Officer of Local Youth Corner Cameroon and doubles and founder and coordinator of Network for peace and Community Development. Here i work with other youths to build the capacities of young people to prevent violent extremism and promote peace and social cohesion. Over the years i have written a number of articles published online on my personal website and blog. I have interest in gender and peacebuilding, education, culture and human rights. As a youth activist with passion for development and contribution to historiography, professional and scientific work, writing/editing/proofreading articles would be yet another opportunity for me to contribute in development.

For me writing, editing or anything to do with words is not only a way of expression rather it gives me an open view about different people their thoughts and helps me explore the competent mind of human civilization.

I have an English degree from the University of Oxford and have worked for the Oxford English Dictionary, where I received training in grammar to an expert level. The first stage involves a copy-edit (rephrasing for wordiness, flow, jargon, generally improving the style), and proofreading (which corrects grammar, spelling, punctuation, and continuity issues). I use track changes to complete all edits, and deliver a tracked and clean copy. I can deliver in two stages, or do both edits and then deliver a finished manuscript, depending on your preference. Your payment schedule may make the latter option easier. I expect that the edit of your novella should take ten hours, so at my hourly rate should stay within your budget.
