BATTERY CHARGER

Project characteristics: We need a battery charger able to charge two serial connected batteries of 18 Ah. The circuit must have two basic behaviors. The first one is to charge the batteries and the other is on absence of AC power the output voltages must be provided by the battery. The transition between AC power and battery mode should be as smooth as possible and completely transparent because the equipment connected to the battery is very delicate. The battery charger must provide a very good AC filter to handle discharges, peaks, noises and voltage variations incoming from the AC line. The Battery Charger must work as described below. Battery Charger specifications: Power Input: 94 – 146 VCA or VCC Total Constant Power: 200 W Frequency: 50 / 60 Hz Outputs: • 24 VCD • 13.2 VCD Batteries: Two 12 VCD, 17.2 Ah batteries serial connected. Maximum battery current charge: 1.6A (Is desirable that user can choose how fast the batteries should be charge, Fast 1.6A – Slow 500mA maybe by dip switch select mode). Maximum current per output: 3A Current charger limit: 6A Short circuit protection per output: 10A Minimum efficiency: 70% Operation temperature range: -10 to +55 C Visual Indicators: Low battery Low AC Input Battery mode This is very serious and urgent project, please do not bid if you're not really able to complete it. We need schematics, BOM and two working samples.
