Hello, I have experience with Adobe AIR and creating of video editing software using the ffmpeg library. Also I have created numerous application with save/load features. Usually I use XML. If format should contain inside any addition resources as pictures, I use FZip library to zip all data (xml, pictures, etc) in one file. Can you send me you application or video to see how it works? I've worked on Air Apps, that allowed user to customise/personalise their settings, and save it to be loaded later. The preference was settings was serialised and deserialised using OO design, to make sure its easily maintained.
