board game

I am in the process of developing a board game which isn't yet finalised. I have to physically play it with friends fade to face a few times to make sure I have the gameplay working smoothly. I have no idea how long it would take to make it. I am hoping if I ask a couple of people on here I can get a rough idea of how much it will cost. The closest game that it resembles is chess or Chinese checkers, where a player moves a number of places on a board and captures other pieces. The board is made up of hexagons instead of squares The game can be played by 2 -6 people. Besides wanting to make it into a real board game to be sold in shops, I also wanted a PC game that can be played between friends on the internet, with a 'chat' add on so players can make comments when it's their turn to move a piece, which is where you would come in. When I am happy with any adjustments to the gameplay after testing it out with friends, I would then be ready to have someone on here do the coding/programming. I'm guessing that a simple game like this for PC might take 5-10 hours to program, but I might be way off the mark. At the moment I'm just fishing for estimated time/cost involved. I'm not actually ready to hire someone yet.
