Calling all Comic illustrators! I am publishing a book on Cultural Diversity for students ages 12 – 18. Please send finished illustration with pricing information. There could be up to 60 illustrations (some as simple as a pencil or piece of twine). Sample the following: When Arabs invaded Sicily in 652 AD, they introduced pasta to the Italians. The Sicilians called this pasta maccaruni (where we get our word macaroni) which means “made into dough by force” because it took a full day to kneed the dough using the feet! Because pasta stored well, it became a common trade item for travelers by sea. Illustration: Woman stomping on dough in tub.
