NES track and field clone

Hi,I would like to create a sports game somehow similar to track and field in then NES console. I want to include 3 sports 1. 100 meters with obstacles 2. 100 meters without obstacles 3. Boxing. Games: 1: the player should run against an animated animal like a cheetah, the input of this game should be the computer serial port and wait for some string or value to represent the each of the foots of the runner. 2: pretty much the same game as the above but with obstacles, the input of this game it's the same as above plus another signal from the serial port to represent the jump. 3: for this game we want to show a character punching a punching bag, draw beside the character we will need a draw of a bottle that is getting filled by every punch the player does to the punching bag, the input for this game it's a string or a value representing the how hard did the player hit the punching bag, again the value should be read from a serial port.
