We have developed an Android app based on an existing iPhone app that reads an RSS feed, filters by category, streams video and pinpoints various office geolocations. The app works fine but runs and starts up rather slowly and now needs optimising, as well as updating to work on ICS (from Honeycomb). Full working source is available. We are looking at this job as proof of skills. There is more work both developing the next version of this app (based on a later iPhone version), a Android tablet version and porting our further iPhone projects to Android.
