Note: I haven't actually tried running your code, I've just looked at it (to get an idea of what it's doing)and am assuming it's working. I'm assuming if there's any a What you are asking for seems straight-foward enough. If the volume of tweets this thing is retrieving is also too high, I could also look at getting it storing the incoming information in a flat-file database to make sure you won't get OutOfMemory exceptions as well. Should mean you should be able to keep this running for weeks. It's a small project, but I usually bid a bit longer to give time to evaluate at what's being delivered before the end of the project.

I have to lookup the twitter API and get the exact URL/Post form that is needed. It can be done by adding a function similar to your query-based one.
