Hello. I think something like this might work. We can compare the angle between consequent 3d vectors. As in the "large" circle there may be more points we just omit some middle points and compute angle between two vectors. Example – in the small circle we have 4 points and the angles will be smth like 90, 90, 90, 90. For the big circle we might have 16 points, we take only each fourth one so that there is the same number of them and compute the angles which should be approximately the same.
I am not sure if this works but the idea seems fine to me. Thanks,
