Drupal 7.8.9 Migration Internet 500 Error After Server Crash

Ubuntu 18.04 server would not let me login via SSH. Subsequently, it was the source of DOS attacks so host provider restricted network. Downloaded all site directories and files while in "Rescue" mode. Restored the mysql db and rebuilt the LAMP server (Ubuntu 20.04). After transferring Drupal to new server, getting a 500 connection error. Tried everything I know including successfully creating a separate new Drupal 7.8.9 site so the Maria db login credentials are correct. Need assistance as soon as possible to get the migrated Drupal site working again.
