Modify an Access Database Application to eliminate the bugs.
The application already exists but the following modifications are required:
1. We need to change the nocontact column in v_volunteer to a numeric field. In the volunteer entry form, currently it is a check box, this needs to be changed to a drop down having the following information - Contact Allowed, Do Not Contact, Address Changed. Based on what is selected, numbers 0,1or 2 should be stored in this field, with 0 (Contact Allowed) being the default.
2. There exists a main database and a second database. I need a small script to go through all the records in second database, and find a corresponding entry in first database. If an entry is not found, then that record must be copied from the second database to the first database but the nocontact field should be changed to 2
3. In the scheduler report, the shift selection should be multi-select option.
Hi There,
I'm a Professional Access Developer. I can make the changes you require, I know exactly what you need.
I'll send you a sample database to show I have the skills to complete the task.
Many Thanks,
Rich
Easy enough to change a check box to a combo box, in table and on the form. Reports can use the value as well.
The records from the second database could probably be appended using a query, assuming the table structure is similar. The query can easily put "non-contact" in.
As far as multi-select, changing the list box is easy, but how will that be reflected in the database? Will it create multiple records, one with each option, or some other method?

I have been developing applications in MS Access since the year 1998. Started from MS Access 97. I'm free to take up this project immediately.
I assume that these bugs means, these three ones and version of MS Access is 2007? Version isn't problem If it's something another. It's just to know - I'm support all versions of MS Access since MS Access 97.
