This is a Google sheets JavaScript project.
The goal is to make a receipt out of values that have been entered by a person previously and print them out on a sheet of paper. The values are printed twice on the paper so the paper can be cut in two parts and the customer given one piece and another kept for the seller, but there needs to be an option to just print the top half so it would fit on a A5 size paper.
1. Print button. There needs to be a print button, it does not matter if its at the top in the drop down menus or in the sheets somewhere. Number one requirement is that it is easily accessible with an Android smartphone and a tablet.
2. Date dialog. When the print button is pressed a print dialog has to appear and ask witch day you want to print, defaulting to the current day. But the user can change the number to print any day in the current sheet. There also needs to be an option not to print the values twice on the receipt so the printed text would fit on a A5 paper. The default state of this option is to have its last state remembered.
3. Print receipt. After pressing “OK” in the print dialog the values in the date entered are transferred vertically onto a new sheet in another spreadsheet called “receipts” named after the date that is being printed (example “05.01.2014”). the values are printed twice on the receipt top half, and bottom half so the printed paper can be cut in two parts.
Hello teitur,
I'd love to do this project for you, and this should be pretty straightforward work. I've allowed 7 days to deliver the project but my likely turnaround would be 2 days.
Thanks for considering my bid!
Regards,
Jaron
