I want to develop an app that would have a database of business and by searching a business name it would let you know whether or not a business is, among many other things, LGBT friendly and if it is politically active about its position. This would allow people to find out where they want to consume based on their ideology. I want to start it because I feel responsible about where I consume and I want my money to be invested in a positive change, like many more people around the world. My main focus are LGBT communities, environmental concerns, human rights, animal rights and pro-choice. That way consumers would have a tool that would make it easier for them to know whether the restaurant they were planing on going or the product they wanted to buy is aligned with their ideals and if not it would present them with alternatives. I would have to keep a database updated and allow several admins to help me out... I would like the platform to give you choices when a business does not meet your standards.
