Source code and volume datasets for the project and a PDF with further instructions is provided. The volume datasets have been acquired with a computed tomography (CT) scanner. We provide utility code for loading and representing volumes, so your task will mainly be to implement the ray-casting in shaders.
Implement maximum intensity projection (MIP).
Implement either front-to-back alpha blending or isosurface rendering.
