Ming and the Pink Panda II

To Illustrate a childrens book about a Minibus and his driver who while travelling in China meet a Pink Panda They help the Pink Panda save a colony of pandas whose food supply (bamboo) has run out due to a [login to view URL] books are not sold comercially. They will be sponsored and given free to children in Hong Kong and China. The books will have a travel, friendship, hospitality and tourism theme. The story series is about a minibus who travels to different places making new friends and seeing new [login to view URL] book will be a simple story that children can read and understand. The illustrator will need to be able to capture scenes from panda colonies in China.. Photos from internet can act as a guide. The illustrator will need to create a friendly Pink Panda. The illustrator will also need to be able to draw the Minibus in various locations and interpret the story.. Many of the scenes can be found on the internet. However it is important that the book charcters are the same or very similar to previous books. I am a teacher in a Chinese primary school and am not allowed to do any paid activities while under contact. I will approach publishers after my contract expires and any commercial selling of the book will include royalties for the illustrator. I have completed 38 books so far and have been happy with the work of the illustrators. I am not concerned about reputations or experience as I am quite happy to let people who want the experience do the books. Please bid for the 12 illustrations. Not per illustration as this can cause misunderstandings. As I am funding the whole exercise from my own pocket I am looking to keep the cost between 30 and 100 dollars. Students welcome to bid as well as established illustrators. I will provide samples from previous books on any characters in the story. It's best if you are able to provide samples of your style especially the minibus charcter and the pink panda.
