We are looking for a dynamic database using PHP and MYSQL for a site which we are in the process of building. At present the site is still in the construction stages, but we are only able to complete the html part. The site will allow visitors to join, where they will choose a log in (should be an email address) and password and enter information on themselves (about 12 fields). They can then choose Free registration (which is limited to 'read only' and will only allow browsing of the site), or full registration where they should be taken to a payment page. Once they have paid, an automatic email will be sent to them confirming payment, and log in details. Once they are able to log in, they will be able to send emails to other members, upload a thumbnail image (145 x 109) and have full use of message boards and chat room. If they forget their password we would need an automatic reminder system, or automatic email to be sent with the password on it. The site should include a search facility, whereby people can search for other members by name (first name, last name), last known location, country of origin, Country of residence and year. Each registered member (whether paid or not) can enter their profile which would include their name, email address, home address, telephone number, and three text area paragraphs) where they can write a bit about themselves. There should be something written in there that prevents them from writing their email address or contact telephone in these paragraphs areas. Their profiles can be updated by themselves when they are logged in by clicking an 'update my profile' link on the page. This will enable them to change the text on their personal page. On their profile page should be an email link whereby REGISTERED site visitors can contact them. If an unregistered user tries to click the email link, they should be taken to a page which invites them to become a full registered user. Their email address is always hidden to protect against unsolicited email spam! A message board facility and chat room facility will also be needed. We may also want a 'whose online' facility something like MSN messenger, but are not sure at this stage. A database should record all the details of each customer, when their yearly renewal is due, whether full or free members with a front end control panel that we are able to use. We need to be able to back up the database regularly, and have copies of all emails going through the site. We would appreciate a quotation with and without the message board and chat facilities.
