Pop-Up Creator Program Needed

Need a pop-up or pop-over program created. This should be a simple task for a programmer who knows what they're doing. The program should be fairly simple and easy to use. When loaded for first time user will need to enter a pre-set activation code. Then it should give user-selectable options to create 4 different pop-ups. A new window pop-up, an unblockable DHTML hover pop-up, a drop-in pop-up and an alert box. Beside each type of pop-up there will be a button the user can click to view a sample of each. User will select which pop-up they want to create then go to a page where they fill in pop-up contents information such as, html coding, size, background color, copy etc. The software will automatically paste the information into the pop-up coding when user clicks on ‘generate pop-up coding’ and it will generate a preview of the pop-up for the user to see. The user can then copy and paste the code into their web page coding. It will have a header graphic - says Justin Michie's Pop Up Creator with a background. We will provide a sample program that we like and we would like something similar created. ## Deliverables Visual Basic is the preferred programming language. When program loads for first time, user will need to enter preset code, there will be a button saying "Don't have an activation code? Click here to get one." Which will go to a web address we'll provide. Once they have entered the code they should not have to enter it again. The activation code should be any 8 individual numbers that when added together add up to 40. The main page will have a header, a small blurb describing the program (we will provide), and options to select each type of pop-up, as well as view samples of each. Samples just pop-up, do not change main page. Bottom will have our copyright and business information (we will provide). User clicks buttons to select one of the four pop-up types and is then taken to a new page. The header is same across all pages, but each page will have its own title. New page has blanks user fills in with details which may vary slightly when creating each different pop-up. This includes: -position of pop-up on page (in pixels), width and height of pop-up (in pixels), -color of pop-up (user can select from a pull down sample menu or something similar), -color of pop-up border (if the pop-up they are creating has a boarder), -title for pop-up, -space for user to write in copy for pop-up (includes selecting text size, font, and color), -space to write in words to go on button or link in pop-up, -options to make pop-up: delayed (including for how long in seconds), appear on exit, or pop-under. Once the user has entered in the information they can click a preview button and see what the pop-up will look like. They can click a ‘create my pop-up’ button and the code will appear in a box where they can copy it into their website coding. Above this box will be simple instructions for how to do this including where the user should paste the code. There should also be a space where user can put it a web address so upon loading the pop-up will load whatever is on that webpage, rather than entering copy into the other spaces. The user needs to be able to easily install and run the program on their computer - add it to their start menu, create a desktop shortcut etc. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under [login to view URL] Canadian Copyright law. ## Platform Needs to run in all versions of Windows.
