Web Page Printing

Ability to print documents from a web page once presented to the user by pressing on a button on the page. Due to the nature of the documents printed two documents should be printed, one for the users client and the other for the users filing. As the documents are being sent to customers, we want to remove the Web headers and footers that usually appear on documents printed from a web page ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased. Functional Requirement ??" Printing from Web Page Acceptable coding options: - May be an ActiveX control ??" must be secure ??" such as ScriptX ([login to view URL]) - May be MS I.E. 5.5 or above (no requirement for Netscape or earlier versions of IE) DESCRIPTION 1. Activated from JScript or VBScript on the Browser TEST: Can be called as an object 2. Print from Web-page automatically without activating Print Dialog TEST: When calling object no flashing of Explorer print dialog or other web pages 3. Control number of docs printed TEST: Parse variable of number of documents (copies) to be printed i.e. print 2 copies 4. Clear web headers & footers on printed page TEST: Printed document does not have ‘[login to view URL] blah [login to view URL]’ etc. 5. Must be secure i.e. doesn't send or retreive any unwanted information. The following Intellectual Property and Moral Rights clauses apply: All intellectual property rights, present or future, in any original material produced in the course of this agreement whether or not reduced to writing is hereby set over and assigned to ME absolutely for the consideration of the sum of one dollar (receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged). There may be pre-existing copyright and other intellectual property rights in all the information and work product which YOU may provide to ME as well as materials such as programs, program listings, programming tools, documentation, reports and drawings which YOU have not separately licensed to ME. YOU grant ME the non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty free, worldwide right to reproduce this work product and these materials, and to prepare adaptations of them, for its internal use, together with a right to grant an irrevocable, royalty free, non-exclusive sub-license of that material to MY customers to reproduce the work product and to make adaptations of it for its internal use. I agree to use MY reasonable endeavors, and to request the customer, to reproduce the copyright notice and any other legend of ownership on any copies we are permitted to make. YOU hereby waive any moral rights YOU may have, both in any existing and future works, made by YOU in the course of this agreement, in favour of ME. YOU agree that this waiver extends to any licensees and successors in title to ME in respect of such works, as well as to any persons who are authorised by ME or by its licensees and successors in title to do acts comprised in the copyright of such works. YOU agree to execute any further documents necessary to give effect to this.
