System Requirements ------------------- The proposed task is the design and development of a web application similar to [login to view URL] allowing customers to design a page including text, images, background and to finally save them as print ready jpegs. An administrative panel need to be developed for management. The customers will be required to take the following steps: 1. Select a pre-set print size for the page. 2. Select a theme based solution or a blank solution for designing the page. 3. Ability to upload images from their local system. 3. Add/Edit/Format text to the design page. 4. Add/Edit images, background from the gallery. The site will be for customers to produce simple designs, based on either a pre-loaded template or a blank canvas where they add content like images, backgrounds etc. Feature List ------------ 1. The system should provide the ability to pick a pre-designed template or blank template. 2. The site is to be vibrant and eye catching. 3. Site must be very easy to use. 4. Adding and manipulating text to the design needs to be simple and intuitive. 5. Uploading images needs to be as simple as possible. 6. The ability to add graphics to the design needs to be provided as in scrapblog. 7. High quality Print Ready Files to be produced and saved on the server with a unique name for customers accessible to the admin via the admin panel (Notification to admin via email). 8. Customers must have to pick a size before the choice of templates. 9. The site admin need the ability to export the name and email addresses of the sites customers to a CSV file. 10. The site admin should have the option to generate pop-ups that activate when entering the site with special offers and news elements. 11. There is no need for Video or Multimedia integration to the design by customers. 12. The customers should not have the ability to print the final design.
