JQuery Slider causing layout issues in IE 7&8

My website has a JQuery slider carousel that seems to be causing my website to look all funky in IE browsers. I thought this was a CSS issue at first and I hired a CSS expert to fix it. He said he tried all the usually things that can cause a site's layout to look messed up in IE and told me none of it worked. He said the problem appears to be involved with the JQuery slider, and that he isn't an expert with that. So I'm in need of someone who understands this and can fix this problem ASAP!
