We already have an administrator for this software but we would like to hire another programmer to learn the tool and help us with The program creates lists of users and allows an admin to send out html messages. The software has a message queue which tracks statistics and allows the admin to see how many people have read the message or how many messages have bounced and how many people have unsubscribed. Currently, the system collect a birthday for each person and then allows the admin to send a specific htm message to the system users on their birthday. They can specify how many days prior to the birthday the message would be sent. This is written in Linux, using php. These birthday messages are system specific and only allow you to define one message. I would like to be able to break these birthday message to allow for the admin to specify which lists should receive a specific birthday message. Basically, I want birthday messages to be more than one definition and allow the admin to define what lists would receive that specific birthday message. I would like someone to learn the tool for possible future feature additions. However, right now, I would like to add this birthday capability. In addition, I would like to do some debugging into bounced messages to make sure that we are not bouncing due to spam. This would be an ongoing task for a programmer as sort of monthly or weekly research into bounced messages.
