150904 Linux dedicated server config

If you break the server you will be responsible for a server rebuild costing $1000. Therefore only apply if you have experience. JOB DESCRIPTION I have 2 dedicated servers. 1 is up and runing and working fine([login to view URL]). The other one is causing me problems ([login to view URL]). I need someone to go in and sort everything out([login to view URL]). My website [login to view URL] is currently directed to [login to view URL] The [login to view URL] is supposed to be an exact copy for use with round robin dns. However we have problems with it. certain pages work ie [login to view URL] My pages arent showing up this needs fixing. I have the files ready that need uploading. The permissions for ftp uploads need changing because they wont let me overwrite. The ftp client says the transfer failed. I do have ftp access but I can only view and upload. There is an issue somewhere I need you to find and fix. I have some files I need to upload and overwrite seems to be blocked. I cant edit all the files I need to. When I upload complex php files they show up blank. You need to log in either through remote browser, ssh etc and sort the problem out. I need you to leave the server up to date and secure. So you need to check security backdoors etc. Also I would like you to upload the files and make sure they work and are visible.. After you have fixed the server and got the pages online I need you to test everything. Then I need you to configure the dns on my nameserver hosted by 123 reg so that everything works. I want round robin dns. 123-reg has a dns manager on their nameservers. I have configured it so that currently it directs to my working server. SERVER DETAILS its a redhat 4 linux on fast hosts has remote control has matrix control panel something is blocking ftp and html access the server is up and running it just needs a few tweaks. This is an easy job for someone with lots of experience but impossible for someone with no experience.
