PHP Gtalk Chat application

We want a very simple chat application built using php/xmpp that allows a web page to communicate over gtalk with a gtalk client. This should be a two way communication using gtalk server to relay messages between the clients. This must be written in PHP. Please see document for some more details. We just need to get the base functionality in place and we can then modify on our end as needed.
