product is built on a linux platform using either flash, ajax, or html5 integrates into joomla using "modules", and "plugins" new templates/clipart/fonts are added through "joomla components" we would like to be able to add and categorize new fonts and new templates whenever we want. Our templates are currently being created in adobe illustrator and being saved as .eps files. we would like for the module to be able to interpret these files into the appropriate layers and fonts. if there is a different or better way to do this we are open to this suggestion. this scenario is ideal, if its not possible, we are willing to have alternative ideas. customer order scenario: customer hits landing page sees that he can use templates to create a new sign (or start from scratch) customer picks template, the size of the sign , and which material his product will be printed on. the program will take these variables and give him a price before he begins designing. program determines whether the customer is building a portrait or landscape item and loads the corresponding "designer skin" to allow for a bigger live area. customer can upload his own graphics (ideally, jpg, pdf, & eps) to this project, use our bank of clip art/photos, and can manipulate the items as seen in the example. customer completes template and has the option of saving to his account, purchasing this product, or choosing a new one and starting this process over to create that item. the website/server will create a .pdf (or .ps or .eps) file of whatever the customer has created and will send this pdf to my location (through ftp or automated email etc) with the work order. The work order should also have a jpg of the file that the customer created so that the paperwork can quickly be matched up with final product) the item that is produced in the .pdf will either need a predefined spot color stroke around the outline or will need a predefined CMYK or RGB color as the outline stroke. when customer has created items he will go to shopping cart to review items he will be given the opportunity to purchase accessories for each item. these accessories are specific to the different items he will be purchasing (frame for a poster, stakes for a yard sign, wallpaper paste for a wall mural) customer will pay for items using AIM credit card processing api support we can provide any mockups, and can provide 100% attention, same day response, nearly continual AIM/Skype chat with project manager if needed, and any other developer support and answer base that is needed on this project. we have banks of .eps templates, clipart, and flash fonts ready to use.
