Project Description: eLearning - Learning Management System (LMS) - Social Platform We realize there are platform solutions(SocialEngine, bigbluebutton, Boonex, etc.) that will do most or ALL of the functionality we need - almost right out of the box. We are looking for a team that can customize, reskin, add/subtract, and integrate new features to create a unique, and game-changing "social learning" website. Key attributes of the system. - Easy to use - Quality: bandwidth efficiency, HD possible(fee based) - Scalability: massive scaling - Stylish: simplicity & usability combined - Speedy: user satisfaction, and network/hosting - Advanced system: beyond open source, ready solutions - SCORM compliant Content types: - Video/audio/chat/whiteboard system(open source LMS platform ok) - screen sharing/desktop sharing - Video files, mpeg's, wmv, quicktime/mov and flash - PDFs, ppt presentations - audio files, wav, mp3 and wma Requirements: - Build a unique system from scratch(using open source code/api, modules, etc.). - Types of users/level of access: Admin, Teachers, Learners, Guests. - Automated account creation for users - Users - create a personal profile - Data mining & analytics for admin and users - Admin able to lock/block/ban users & areas open to particular users. - Ability to create tests/surveys. - Submission system for Coursework - Email alerts for all users - options provided in settings on what to receive alerts for. - Social media integration for all users - post tweets/fb/linkedin from profile and skype. - Bulletin board for all users - Blog system - Payment for courses - Database system of courses to view and purchase - Mailing list system - User messaging ability to other users, teachers, admin etc mail and instant messaging - Content creation system for various forms of materials/content - Developer assistance to create content provided by our team Extra notes: - viewable on all devices, cross platform (web based) - mobile native apps to be built to support system(phase II). - html5 needs to be built into system 1ST DRAFT PROTOTYPE TO BE COMPLETED BY END OF APRIL - CAN BE FUNCTIONAL ONLY. NDA will need to be signed by winning bid. You will remain as support to the system for at least 6 months after completion for bugs/testing. You may be given the opportunity to be the system administrators/support ongoing with review process. MILESTONES: Milestones will be agreed to with winner of project There will be no upfront payments for no work - we will work together to agree to all milestone payments...no exceptions!!! Advanced web system developers required and follow SCORM (experience in teaching systems is preferred). We require examples of advanced work that meet requirements as proof of experience
