Executable program that turns black/white jpeg image into a 3d map - like a terrain landscape map with mountains and walleys. A white spot (RGB 255/255/255) gives a mountain while a black spot (0/0/0) gives a valley.
Should be able to both "fly" over terrain, and also save as image (bmp).
## Deliverables
1. For information on what i mean with terrain, please see [login to view URL] (3d dynamic view bottom of page) or [login to view URL] (top of page) or [login to view URL]
2. All of thoose three are pressure mapping. We will not use it for pressure mapping, but for a heatcamera (infrared camera) and want to present the result in a nicer way.
3. The original JPEG (can be BMP if its better for you) that should be displayed as 3D will be passed by command line to an executable.
4. If the string of command line includes -S at the end nothing will be displayed on screen, but a bmp image will be saved in temp-folder instead (size something like 1920x1024 or similar - pretty big).
5. User should be able to ZOOM (using mouse scroll wheel), rotate (using mouse X axis and left mousebutton), tilt (using mouse Y axis and left mousebutton), move down (using CTRL, left mousebutton and mouse X axis) and move left/right (using CTRL, left mousebutton and mouse Y axis).
(the combination is choosen because of compatibilty with other parts of the main application)
6. The JPEG image is grayscale 256 tones (0-255). The image is 320x240, 240x320, 640x480 or 480x640 and no other original size.
7. A bright tone (example 255) gives a mountain, a blacker tone (example 10) gives a lower terrain - like a valley.
8. The terrain map should include a raster, like the ones on the webpages above.
9. The terrain should be colored (either filled or coloured lines) like on the webpages blue low - red high.
So if this is something that seems like a piece of cake for you, give me a bid.
