Recode/Convert an old C++ Linux program to a Visual C# or C++ 2005 Windows Version

I need source code for a fairly small (about 6-7k lines) old Linux server side program written in C++ to be fixed and rewritten to Visual C# or C++ 2005, with a nice clean form that allows the user to quickly enter certain server variables when loading the server (ie: maxplayers, disconnecttime). As of now these variables are loaded from textfiles in the directory /data. Preferably C# as I'm more fluent of the workings of that language. The source code is dated (about 7+ years now) and I believe compiled with gcc 2.96, so it needs some updating. Its a game server for a client/server type of online game. The code deals with sockets and the database is a simple textfile one, however there will also be an SQL version provided as well. Whichever you choose to code is up to you. I'm open to all levels, although you should definitely have decent knowledge of both Linux and Windows code. Uploaded the source code for those who requested it. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
