I have a new Wordpress website, with S2Member and Buddypress added. Here's what I need: once a new user creates a login, I want the user to have the ability to create a page based on a custom template where the user can select an expense category from a drop down list (expense categories are entered in a separate page), type in the amount spent on that expense during a calendar quarter (3-month period), then the expense typed in is automatically divided by the number of weeks (13) and months (3) for that quarter. The resulting calculations are automatically displayed in separate textboxes on the same page. Then, when the user clicks the "submit" button on the page, this data is saved to a MySQL table and a pie chart is displayed and updated on the same page. The user can enter several different expense amounts for different expense categories, and submit them one at a time. With each submission, the pie chart on the page is updated and displayed accordingly.
While you're probably thinking I actually need a form created, a form won't work necessarily because I want the amounts entered, along with the accompanying pie charts, to be displayed as separate blog pages or posts, and then each of these posts/pages can be retrieved later, separately. So, if a user types in the expenses for "2nd Quarter 2012", any other user can call up the page or post at a later time.
I have a page mock-up already built, which I'll show to the most qualified bidders. If you have examples of interactive charts or graphs that you have built in Wordpress sites, please send me links. Thanks!
