The program will be a web-app that can crawl through online store API's (Walmart, Best Buy, Amazon, etc) and analyze prices with Amazon's price (Done through UPC's or ASIN's). The app should run in the browser and use a document database (MongoDB preferred). The back-end should be written preferably in Node JS. Front end should be a basic dashboard style with a modern JavaScript framework (Angular, backbone, or ember will do). The app should be configured for cloud deployment. The most important part of this project is to Crawl and Scrape through the entire Retail store site to compare all of their products with Amazon's price. I have a very detailed Mock up once we discuss more. I want to include this as the first paragraph: I want to make a program that will compare the prices of All products on retail sites like, Wal-Mart and Target, with Amazon's price and save all of the products that are at least 1/3 of Amazon's price and in the top 1% of Amazon's sales rank.

Hi, I can do this using java or node.js browser automation. However, are you planning to crawl the entire amazon site? It would be hard as you will be banned sometime, and amazon usually blocks proxies. Regards, Sergio.

Hey, I was notified about this project by Freelancer. I'm interested in this project. From my understanding, you want to use several web store APIs and analyze the prices with Amazon's. I'm looking forward to using node.js to do the backend crawling/scraping. I have tons of experience working with APIs, web crawling, web scraping, and number crunching.
